Thanksgiving Dressing

This year, for the first time, thanksgiving is at my house!  I got everything all sorted out, apart from the dressing.  I look it up on the web, and most things have more stuff in them then everything else I have to get combined!  Humph.

  2. I didn’t read you post comment until after Thanksgiving, but brine I did. Even though the turkey was finished three hours before dinner it was still mostly moist.

As for the dressing, will, first my mother told me I could skip it, and then when I told her I was she got all worried that father would not like that and brought me two boxes of Stove Top Stuffing.

Sometimes people try to make controversy where there isn’t any. Especially around holidays.

  3. Sorry Sven, Missed the pre-thanksgiving post. I’ll agree brine is the way to go for the bird. And yes “Dressing” is an absoulte must. Remember “Dressing” is outside the bird and “Stuffing”is inside. If you want my great grandmothers’ chestnut stuffing recipe for another occasion please let me know. Its a bit of work but ohh the reward.
