A version of ThinkGeek for the UK
Just discovered pocket-lint.co.uk in the UK, similar in idea to what you get at ThinkGeek in the US. Tons of stuff. Try not to think about the current exchange rate for the US $ or the Euro €.

I’ve been a big fan of thinkgeek.com for years now. Can’t understand why they still don’t have a branch in the EU.
Best,

Hey,
I bought the domain thinkgeek.co.uk about 5-6 years ago with the idea of setting up a thinkgeek franchise in the UK/EU. I emailed the US office about it but never received a reply. I’m still interested.

You should probably email them again. I’m fed up of extortionate shipping costs.

Does the stuff you buy from thinkgeek.com come through to the UK OK.

It comes through but I’ve been hit everytime with customers charges and they want C.O. D. I’ve mailed thinkgeek and they’ve no plans to open a UK office or sort out the custums stuff. Shame as they do seema nice lot. Perhaps they’re hands are tied, or they’re makign too much money to in the US to give an uber about us in the UK?
